Group Trucks Operations is Hiring a Software Developer Near Greensboro, NC
Software Developer
- Implement and optimize data storage solutions using Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Blob Storage, and other Azure data services.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture using Azure API Management and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Integrate Azure services with existing systems and third-party APIs.
- Implement security measures and best practices to ensure data protection and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for version control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization in Azure environments.
- Stay updated on the latest Azure technologies, tools, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and Azure services.
- Understanding of Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with ReactJS, ExpressJS, NodeJs is a must.
- Previous experience with Volvo Performance System
- Experience with Volvo legacy software like SPOT, VIPS, GLOPPS etc.
- Experience with SAP modules.
- Previous experience with Warehouse Management System(s)
- Previous experience with working in a supply chain environment
- Experience with developing highly scalable web applications and ability to efficiently use version control tools.
- As all documentation is in English, proficiency in the English language is required
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to network effectively across a diverse organization and build enduring relationships across functional and geographical areas
- Strong personal integrity and credibility
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent understanding for data literacy and digitalization in the workplace along with the mindset to drive the digital transformation within the teams
- Basic understanding of BI tools, databases, workflows and automation
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
